The second edition of the Culinair Festival Amuse 2011 took place at the beautiful Sloterplas, by the water opposite de Meervart. Organized by the Municipality Amsterdam in the district New-West (Gementee Amsterdam, Stadsdeel Nieuw-West), it was a successful event on 9 July 2011 as the event was crowded, the cooking workshops and dinner was full. People came to enjoy not only the weather but the delicious snacks offered by the stalls and Rosie G. from Flavours Of Singapore did an open air cooking workshops to the public. After 2 hours of cooking and teaching, Rosie presented to the diners, 250 amuse glasses of Singapore chicken satays filled with satay peanut sauce, cucumber and sweet pineapples for dinner. Along with that, we had a buffet feast of exotic cooked food by ethnic groups from the neighbourhood. Overall it was a day and night full of delicious food, snacks, cakes, great dinner, music and company at the dinner table!
