Raan Pad Thai 2 is a Thai restaurant dine in or take away is also available. We’ve been here a few times and every time the owner is very friendly and chatty. The owner is also the chef who cooks behind the “bar”. Food is authentic, good and fresh. It is a cosy place which Amsterdammers call it “gezellig”. The interior has its old charm a mix of old bar and thai decor. What makes this place stands out is the chef owner who has a very pleasant personality and makes the effort to chat with his customers even though he is busy.
Pros: Authentic Thai food, not pricey, friendly owner, good for take-aways for those living nearby.
Cons: Interior decor is a little bit dated.
